2024

- Nov 13  The Zimms are excited to welcome their new drummer (who is Brian's neighbor) Byron Lapola to the band. Byron has played with several local touring bands in the past and brings the fire and feel that was missing from their songs. Needless to say, the songs are now at the proper level. Byron and Brian have already begun recording material for their new album and it sounds amazing! Welcome aboard Byron!

- OCT 25 The Zimms announce that they have parted ways with their longtime drummer Chris Zimmermann due to irreconcilable differences but will always be an important part of the band’s history. Chris has been with the band since July of 2015 for a total of 9 years, the longest of any person that Brian ever played with combined, since his band days began in 1992. Chris’s most notable contributions to the band was on the Mr. Ken songs in which he originated the drumming for each of those songs from scratch and he should be very proud of that. The band sincerely thanks Chris for his devotion, longevity and his contributions with the band. He will be missed and they wish him well and the best of luck in his future endeavors.

- Sean was featured on Brian's podcast in May. You can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaTeikn9h-I
